Day 1: Little Forest Garden Retreat, Windhoek

Day Itinerary

Meet & greet at Windhoek International Airport. Rental vehicle(4×4). Credit Card for excess and contract costs as
well as Driver’s License need to be presented. Depart to your guesthouse in Windhoek and evening is spent at

Namibia

breathtaking natural wonders, touring Namibia is truly a pleasure. Visit the capital of Windhoek and the lovely
coastal town of Swakopmund to discover remnants of the country’s German influence, reflected in the architecture,
culture, cuisine and the annual Oktoberfest celebrations. To properly appreciate this extraordinary country, you will
have to venture out of the cities to explore the remarkable natural landscapes Namibia has to offer. These include:
the impressive Fish River Canyon Park; the vast Etosha National Park teeming with local subspecies, such as desert
lions, desert elephants and the Hartmann’s Mountain Zebra; the hauntingly beautiful Kalahari Desert; and of course

Windhoek

Windhoek is Namibia’s capital, home to an international airport and a plethora of restaurants, shops, entertainment
venues and accommodation options. The city is clean, safe and well-organised, with a colonial legacy that is reflected
in its many German eateries and shops, and the widespread use of the German language. Windhoek has an
interesting mix of historical architecture and modern buildings, many of which are worth a look, including the Alte
Feste (Old Fort), the 1896 Christuskirche (Christ Church), and the more contemporary Supreme Court.

Day 3: Omaruru Game Lodge, Erongo Mountains

After breakfast, depart to Omaruru Game Lodge, lunch at own account and afternoon game drive included. +- 2

Erongo Mountains

The Erongo Region is one of the largest of the 13 regions found in Namibia and received its name for the majestic
Erongo Massif that dominates the area around Karibib, Omaruru and Usakos. The region reaches up to the Atlantic
Ocean and includes the coastal towns of Swakopmund and Walvis Bay, its northern boundary ending at the Ugab
River where the Skeleton Coast National Park begins its stretch to Angola.

Overnight: Omaruru Game Lodge

Omaruru Game Lodge is situated in a 3400 ha private game park with rhinos, eland, sable, zebras and ostriches
leopard and cheetahs. The lodge is built in the midst of a green oasis on the banks of a river. The lodge was designed
in the traditional African round house style with grass roofs. The en-suite bungalows are situated around a big
waterhole in the shadow of the large palm and sycamore trees and from your patio you can watch the scenery of
African wildlife. Your candle light dinner will be taken in the restaurant or on a romantic grill place where traditional
Namibian food will be served.

Day 4: Ocean House B&B, Swakopmund

Day Itinerary

Departing to Swakopmund, optional 30 minutes camel ride USD 20 per person and 45 minutes Quad biking USD 30
per person or 1 hour Eco gliding can be booked. Evening is spent at the beach. Dinner, we recommend The Tug

Swakopmund

Founded in 1892 as the main harbour for German South West Africa, Swakopmund is often described as being more
German than Germany. Now a seaside resort, Swakopmund is the capital of the Skeleton Coast tourism area and has
plenty to keep visitors happy. The quirky mix of German and Namibian influences, colonial-era buildings and the cool
sea breeze make it very popular.

Overnight: Ocean House B&B

Set on a beachfront in the coastal city of Swakopmund, Ocean House is a family-friendly bed and breakfast bed close
to the city centre. Accommodation consists of 13 spacious and beautifully furnished double rooms with a private

Day 5: Ocean House B&B, Swakopmund

Day Itinerary

Start the day with a big excitement!!! Early morning pick up and depart to Walvis Bay and embark on a marine cruise
followed by an adventure in the Namib Desert up to Sandwich Harbour will fulfil your day. Both excursions include
Champagne, cold local beers, soft drink, fresh Oysters, and finger foods. The activities start at 9h00 and end at 16h30

Day 6: Sossusvlei Lodge, Sesriem

Day Itinerary

After breakfast, depart to Sossusvlei en route don’t miss the photographic opportunity at the Tropic of Capricorn sign
and stop at Solitaire to taste Africa’s best Apple Pies. Embark on the scenic/nature drive with your lodge (Still
Mineral Water, Sundowner Drink & Snack Platter included). 4 Hours 26 Minutes’ Drive (346.5 km)

Sesriem

As there is no accommodation at Sossusvlei, visitors to this desert wilderness are likely to end up staying at Sesriem,
65 kilometres away, where camps and lodges serve as a base from which to explore the dunes. Sesriem Canyon, a
deep chasm carved through the rocks by water, is a striking natural feature of the area that is best explored on foot.
Stony walls rise up sharply on both sides of the canyon, while birds roost in its crags and lizards dart along the
ledges. The canyon’s name was coined when early settlers used it as a water source, using six lengths of leather (‘ses
riem – six thongs) tied together to lower buckets into the water at the base of canyon.)

This morning requires an early start; around 7AM visit Sossusvlei (dune 45), Deadvlei, Elim Dunes and Sesriem
Canyon in your rented vehicle. Park fees not included (USD 10 per person and USD 4 per vehicle). Evening is spent at
leisure. 800m to Sesriem gate.
