Ompo Travel & Safari care, we work in partnership with various NGO community projects and share the values of giving back and developing the communities. Over the past years, we have been involved in projects that are aimed at making a difference in their community and we want to give them a platform to the international community.

BASKETBALL ARTISTS SCHOOL (BAS) FOUNDATION (KATUTURA, WINDHOEK)

BAS is a non-profit organization in Katutura, that focuses on children and youth development, mainly in education and life skills, we use sports basketball, soccer, and educational activities as instruments, to attract them into our various community programs.

Our aim: 

  • a) Assist children and young people in their school education and general knowledge

  • b) Promote a healthy lifestyle through life skills;

  • c) Reach out to young community members enhancing their appreciation of their lives through sports activities with a focus on basketball, soccer, and educational activities.
